1. Purpose of SaveMake
SaveMake is a visual bookmark management platform for legitimate personal and professional use — storing and organizing your own bookmarks and links in a personal workspace. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) forms part of our Terms of Service. By using SaveMake you agree to comply with it and all applicable laws.
2. Acceptable Use
You may use SaveMake to store and organize your own bookmarks, manage links to websites and online resources, maintain a personal visual workspace, and access your own account in accordance with our Terms of Service.
3. Prohibited Activities
You must not engage in, facilitate, or promote unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities: violating laws, facilitating crime, fraud, or scams; accessing another user’s account or data; circumventing authentication or access controls; uploading malware, viruses, ransomware, or spyware; attacking, overloading, scraping, or disrupting our infrastructure; probing or exploiting vulnerabilities without written authorization; or using SaveMake to facilitate phishing, credential theft, impersonation, investment or payment scams, fake login pages, or malware distribution. Normal browser automation that does not abuse the Services is permitted.
4. Sensitive Information
SaveMake is not a password manager or confidential vault. Do not intentionally store passwords, API keys, authentication tokens, private credentials, credit-card or banking information, government IDs, or other highly sensitive data in bookmark URLs, titles, or descriptions. URLs can embed visible information — review them before saving.
5. Intellectual Property & Privacy
Do not store or facilitate content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other IP rights. Do not unlawfully collect, store, or distribute another person’s personal information (no doxxing, identity theft, harassment, or unlawful disclosure). You are responsible for having the rights to anything you save.
6. Harmful or Abusive Content
Do not use SaveMake to threaten or encourage violence, exploitation, criminal activity, fraud, or harassment, or to create a serious risk of harm. This applies both to information stored in SaveMake and to activities you intentionally facilitate through it. Third-party links you save remain your responsibility — SaveMake does not endorse or guarantee linked sites.
7. Account Misuse
Do not create accounts for fraud or to evade suspension, share access in ways that create security risks, impersonate others, use false information unlawfully, or access another user’s account. Protect the authentication method for your account.
8. Security Research & Reporting
We support responsible research. Report vulnerabilities to business@savemake.app with enough detail to reproduce the issue. Do not access or modify another user’s data, disrupt the Services, perform denial-of-service testing, exploit beyond what is reasonably necessary, or publicly disclose sensitive details before we have reasonable time to investigate. To report abuse generally, include the account/URL, a description of the suspected violation, evidence, and your contact info if you want follow-up.
9. Enforcement
If we reasonably believe you violated this AUP, we may warn you, remove or restrict content, suspend or terminate your account or features, block abusive activity, preserve information where legally permitted, or report illegal activity to authorities. We may act immediately to protect users, infrastructure, or third parties. We are not required to monitor all activity and cannot guarantee every violation is detected.
10. Changes & Relationship to Other Policies
We may update this AUP to address new abuse, service changes, security, law, or technology, with notice where appropriate. Read it with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. Where this AUP conflicts with applicable law, the law controls.
